Occasion
How many years have you been married? 1, 5, 10, 20 (not married yet?- that’s ok too!) For me, it will be 14 years this year, and while that feels like a lot of years, it doesn’t even come close to the beautiful occasion celebrated by these two.
This past fall, I was very honored when asked to photograph the fiftieth wedding anniversary of this sweet couple who was celebrating in style with all their kids and grandchild combined. (Yes, you read that right, 50!!) And what a perfect way to remember such a special event than with photographs!

Styling
This family definitely dressed the part this evening making sure to impress. Check out the suits, gowns, and fancy jewelry. Or as they put it, they were “dressing like the Trumps!” The sophisticated style of all family members helped make their portraits just beautiful for this magical evening. Time of Day
As with the majority of my portraits sessions, this session took place right before the sun went down. Scheduling portrait sessions near sunset will ensure that your pictures look the best they can. The light is smooth and beautiful and will flatter your features.
