Age: Two

There is nothing cuter than a two year old that is happy and curious! As you can see from his shirt, this handsome little guy was all ready for his two year old pictures.  He came with a big smile and stylish wardrobe.  I am no stranger to this little guy either.  He was just as alert for his newborn photos and just as smiley for his one year shots!  I saw his curiosity  in all its sweetness at his past cake smash session!  It’s so much fun to photograph clients each year as they get a little bit bigger.  It’s also neat to look back and see how they’ve grown.

Location: Ahwatukee

If you frequent my blog, you will notice that Ahwatukee is one of my favorite locations for both family and child photography.  There is so much beauty here and the location offers both open desert as well as mountains and beautiful sunsets.  Also, there is so much to explore if you are newly two!

Time: Sunset

As with most of my sessions, this two year old child photo shoot was scheduled just before sunset.  This is especially important for open desert sessions when the typical Arizona sun is hot and bright. Photos taken in too bright of light will not be flattering.  Sessions that take place later in the afternoon return soft lit images with gorgeous desert sunsets.  It also tends to be a little cooler too, especially in the spring or summer.
