Phoenix Family Photography- March Blog Circle: “Dream”

For those of you who don’t know, I am part of a group of photographers from all over the United Sates who participate in a monthly blog circle.  Each month a new theme is chosen and all the photographers interpret the theme through photographs.  At the end of this post you can click on the link to follow the next blog and see more pictures from a different photographer in the country and see what their take was  on the theme.  The month’s theme was “dream”.  To see last month’s blog circle theme and my interpretation of it you can click here.

This month’s theme was a little tricky for me because when I heard “dream”, the first thing that came to my mind was sleep.  I honestly wasn’t very inspired by it and could only think of sleepy dreaming babies or  pictures of my kids taking naps. That didn’t excite me too much, so I decided to think a little more out of the box. Dreams to me are also goals that you have for yourself and this interpretation I liked a little better.  I am constantly goal setting and trying to achieve new things, but there have been some dreams of mine that have been constant.  One of those dreams has been to have a large family.  I have always dreamed of having a lot of kids and while many people probably look at my family now and think I have accomplished that goal,  I’ve been working on making that dream a little bit bigger.  This spring our family will be a family of six!  Not only will baby #4 be arriving in a mere two months now, but it is also a boy, which will even out the numbers in our household!  I thought it was appropriate that my only other son help in making the announcement and so here are some of the photos from my gender reveal.  I definitley think my “dream”  has become a reality and I am so excited!

Your images are beautiful. I am mom to six children. I didn’t actually dream of having a little larger family than the “norm”, but I sure wouldn’t change a thing. I absolutely adore my crazy, busy family life. So I hope you end up with that large family. It is soooo much fun!ReplyCancel
