This photo session documented a super important milestone in anyone’s life: high school graduation! This high school senior portrait session was one of my favorite combining both beauty and style. I love how she brought in her own personal style to the session! High school senior portraits are generally taken anytime between the summer after junior year to May of their current senior year. Anytime is the perfect time during your senior year! To see another example of a high school senior portrait session check out “Desert Beauty at The Botanical Gardens”.
Style & Props
Did I mention that I just loved this session?? She was inspired by the style of the 1950’s and was able to switch outfits three times throughout our session! Not only was her clothing 50s inspired, but she also incorporated props into her style and portraits. Using old letters, book and yearbooks as well as sheet music, these props totally completed the look and created awesome style for her senior portraits! Isn’t she just gorgeous!?
Nestled right in the middle of Downtown Phoenix, Heritage Square Park has a charming old school feel that makes you feel like you aren’t in the middle of a high paced downtown atmosphere at all. It’s quaint and vintage style buildings are perfect backdrops for senior portraits or for family pictures too! The green trees, rose gardens and cool architecture also make for great photos.
