Phoenix Area Maternity Photography

Location

This maternity session location was right in the middle of Glendale, Arizona.  Different from the typical desert locations close to Phoenix, this spot at Manistee Ranch Park offered more green and trees than you usually see.  This park has a small orchard,  small non working farm and equipment and many historical buildings.  This area does get very busy on weekends and during the holidays.  However, it’s a great choice for maternity or family photos.  More from Manistee Ranch Park here.

Wardrobe

For maternity sessions, maternity is especially important.  you want to make sure you are selecting an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful and also shows off that gorgeous baby bump!  A very popular style now is the flowing maternity gown.  These are comfortable to wear, simple and make mom to be stunning!  Other great choices are tight fitting tops that show of the belly or to show off even more of the growing  bare belly, try a tube top and long skirt to show off that mew baby to be.  Don;t forget accessories.  Floral crowns and jewelry often look great in maternity photos.  You can check out some more maternity styling here or here.

Tips For Maternity Sessions

Maternity sessions are best taken between 28-33 week pregnant.  Wear something you feel comfortable and beautiful in.  If you want to include your husband, other children or pets please feel free!  Enjoy your time! I know it can seem like a long time when you are pregnant, but it goes by quick.  Enjoy your pregnancy and your photo session and love looking a the photos after baby has arrived!
