Children’s Photography in Scottsdale

The Location

This popular Scottsdale area location is a great one of child or family photographs.  The Scottsdale Civic Center, right near the public library, is full of variety from family pictures.  Home to the infamous Love sign, the Scottsdale Civic Center is also home to  beautiful fountains, flowers, green grass, fun building and more. These things combined make it a pretty neat spot for photos.  The only downside is that it can get pretty crowed and there are often many public events held here making it difficult to photograph.  If you are interested in scheduling a session here, just make sure to check with the city to see if there are events happening on the day of you shoot!  You can view more session for the Scottsdale Civic Center right here!

Props & Accessories!

Props and accessories make four photos more interesting and fun!  These siblings used props in the environment+ brought there own! The civic center also contains some cool and colorful mini merry go rounds, which are neat props for child photos.  These two also brought giant balloons with them to add to the fun. Time of Day

As with many of my photo sessions, this one began about an hour before sunset.  This time of day is perfect for family or child photos because the light is the most flattering.  This will be the time I always recommend for your photo session.
