Top Five Prompts To Use With Children When Taking Their Picture
1.Tell them NOT to laugh (whatever they do)Â
They will wither look at you somewhat confused..or break into a huge smile…because hey, kids always DO what we tell them NOT to, right;)
2. Whisper a Secret
If they are not sure what to say (and a lot of times kids aren’t) tell them to whisper the silliest words they know to whatever family member they are sitting by. This is like guaranteed smiles!
3. Think about things they want to get for their birthday (Christmas, from the toy store, etc.)?Â
Then when you count to 3, shout one out. (you’ll get some great pics while they are thinking AND when they declare the toy they’d love to have.
4. Jump as high as you can
With two feet, on one foot…and then…with none?
5. Smile (or make a face) like you favorite _____________
{ fill in the blank with favorite princess, cartoon character, superhero, etc.}
