The Stay Focused Podcast Episode #12: What Gear Should You be Investing in NOW…and What Should You Hold Off On
Hi Everyone! It’s Emily and welcome back to another episode of the Stay Focused Podcast! A BIG question that I hear from a lot of new photographers is: “what gear should I be spending my hard-earned money on first?” And this is an important question! I get it, I know that there are so many choices out there and a lot of those choices are not cheap. It’s easy to think that you NEED high end items in order to take wonderful pictures. But guess what? That’s not true!
On today’s episode, we chat about the main things you could be investing in first. And what you can hold off on.
Today’s episode is all about the photography gear you should invest in…AND the stuff you don’t need right away.
My first investment was actually a pretty good deal. It was $0. Yup, didn’t cost me anything because I worked with a camera I had borrowed from my dad. I knew I had a desire to learn photography, but at the time, I was starting to have lots of children, didn’t have a job and well…didn’t have a lot of extra money either.
In this episode I share with you EXACTLY what I bought (or borrowed when I was first starting out) so that you don;t have to waste a bunch of your money on things you might not need yet!
